Portamedic, Inc is Hiring a Mobile Sonographer Near Zanesville, OH
- Completion of all on-line training courses (at a passing level) and additional coursework, as assigned, based on scanning performance.
- Caption Health provides all necessary equipment for position
- Maintenance and sanitization of scanning equipment (charging, cleaning, transporting per training etc.)
- Arrive, document, and perform high-quality echocardiograms, based on Caption echo protocol, at scheduled locations within your geographic area.
- Ensure echocardiograms are completed and uploaded to the server.
- Punctual, professional, compassionate, and kind when interacting with patients and/or clinic staff.
- Timely reporting of any issues encountered while scanning. (i.e., equipment malfunctions, patient issues etc.,)
- Perform all tasks within the workflow as trained.
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography – ARDMS Certified
- Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience
- Tech savvy inclination with demonstrated ability to learn/use computer software.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Flexibility to travel to and from clinics or patients’ homes in an assigned geographic region.
- Kind and professional beside manners.
- Good vision, fluent in reading and writing English. Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Able to carry up to 25 lbs.
