We are a small animal, full-service, one doctor Veterinary Hospital, we are located in New Franklin/Portage Lakes area. We are extremely busy, and are looking for someone that is positive, reliable, is a self-starter and motivated.

• The right applicant must most importantly have a desire to help people and their pets, be friendly, positive, and professional at all times, even in stressful, fast-paced situations.
• You must be physically able to lift 50lbs, stand for extended periods of time, and get down on the floor with the animals. This is a fast-paced industry and we are very busy.
• We prefer someone who has some veterinary experience including but not limited to: assisting the doctor in medical, surgical and dental procedures, prepare patients for surgery, monitor patients during surgery, and recovery, animal restraint, computer/technology skills as we operate on a computer software system, take X-rays, and help maintain a clean environment.
• You MUST be a team player, have reliable transportation, and pay attention to details.
• We are closed on Thursdays - These days are good for personal appointments, etc.
• We are closed for all major holidays. Full-time employees will receive 40 hours paid vacation per year, after 1 year of employment.
• Initial hires will have a 90-day introductory period.
• Pay will be based on experience and will be discussed during interview.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
