Based in Van Nuys, CA, we serve a wide range of clients from rewards incentives, corporate gifting, IT Services and and Value-Added Resale in addition to ecommerce marketplaces and various outlets.
- Reconciles bank account and merchant/payment processor clearing accounts
- Verify, track and reconcile vendor payments/prepayments and apply to invoices as appropriate
- Reconciles balance sheet accounts and closes books monthly
- Performs daily banking procedures
- Prepare and examine accounting records and other financial reports
- Reviews general ledger for accuracy
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial close package
- Assist with annual review preparation
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools, specifically NetSuite and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to research and provide resolution for issues as identified
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow in a high volume environment
- Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
