Job Purpose Summary:
Responsible for scheduling and dispatching rental equipment, delivery equipment and technicians for on-time job completion.
Top Responsibilities:
· Maintain up-to-date rental equipment and rental equipment support status to match with job requirements for job planning and scheduling.
· Create and update schedule daily to coordinate job staffing (capability, availability, job fit) with operations staff and customer needs.
· Establish contact with customers once job is won to review expectations and confirm delivery time and expected pick-up. If job is less than 14 days from delivery, immediately contact Portable Air operations manager to determine equipment supply from inventory or sub-rental.
· Manage Sub-rental process in collaboration with sales and operations.
Top Accountabilities:
· Equipment delivery and on-site technician planning & scheduling performance (job readiness, completion, safety, on-time performance)
· Job coordination and collaboration with key stakeholders (customer, sales, technicians, Houston & Cocoa operations) which will require the ability to work remotely after-hours
· Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly job calendars 4
Key Functional Tasks:
· Job project management including planning, problem-solving, completing and communicating
· Fact-based analysis applied to equipment readiness
· Maintaining updated inventory report
· Manage vendors and sub-rental suppliers to serve our customers most cost-effectively
· Learning equipment capabilities to be able to match equipment to job
· Tracking equipment, delivery, and employee readiness
Job Requirements:
· Customer-service and collaborative disposition with clear, direct communication and conflict resolution skills required
· Excellent Project management skills
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
· Dispatching experience a plus
