Industrial Maintenance and Facilities Technician - 2nd shift

Position Summary:

Our manufacturing client in Virginia Beach, Virginia is looking to add an Industrial Maintenance and Facilities Technician to their 2nd shift team. You will perform preventative maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery including cranes, brakes, welding equipment, etc. You must also be familiar with general facilities maintenance including light plumbing, electrical and carpentry work to help keep facilities safe and up to a high standard.

You will establish and follow a preventative maintenance program for all machines, tools, and facility equipment. 

Requirements

A strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical trades.

2 years experience in the maintenance and repair of plant mechanical and electrical equipment. 

Prior OSHA safety training.
