Port Superior Marina Association Inc. is Hiring a Marine Technician Near Bayfield, WI

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various marine vessels, both gas and diesel.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on marine vessels, including inspections, oil changes, and filter replacements.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform engine tune-ups and adjustments.
- Troubleshoot and repair boat systems, including steering, propulsion, and electrical systems.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications for repairs and maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with marine engines, electronics, and boat systems on vessels up to 65 feet.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.

-Must be able to work independently and have high quality work ethic.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.

- Must be a self-starter, able to manage projects on your own and have excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate directly with customers.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
