PORT Health Services is Hiring a CHILD CARE WORKER Near WILMINGTON, NC

 
 
Port Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team at Kelly House designed to provide or arrange access to a full continuum of care for women and children. 

What You’ll Do

As the Childcare provider at KH you will assist in planning, coordinating and executing daily age appropriate developmental activities for the children in your care including infants. You will organize and order supplies as well as insure all equipment in your area is working and in good condition or work with the House manager for repair or replacement. A key component of this position will be to maintain accurate documentation and files. 

How You’ll Benefit 

You’ll earn a competitive salary of $13-15/hour depending on your skills and experience.This full-time position offers a primaryschedule Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm, 40 hours/week. We also offer benefits to those regularly working 30 hours or more per week.

What We’re Looking For

To join our team as the childcare provider at KH you must have experience working with children and truly enjoy coordinating learning activities for all ages. We also require:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in child development, early childhood employment or completion of a childcare training program
  • Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance
