Pork King Good Property & Equipment Maintenance Technician:

Join us at our snack food manufacturing facility in Cudahy, WI as a Property & Equipment Maintenance Technician! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and readiness of our products for distribution.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must be open to working and adapting to a food production facility
• Must follow good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and good personal hygiene practices
• Experience in Welding - Mig and stick is helpful
• Ability to read blueprints / schematics
• Electrical: up to 480V, 3 phase motors, AC/DC circuits, PLC, conduit, sensors, PVC work
• Wire new motors to the production line
• Forklift and reach truck capable
• Mechanical: cutting machinery, punch presses, boilers, conveyors, motors
• Mechanical Work: conveyors, rotors, shafts, bearings, gears, installation of blades, etc.
• Perform necessary repairs and maintenance to all production/facility equipment to ensure that adequate machinery is available for day and night operations.
• Completes work-orders in an effective and timely manner and reacts immediately to emergency work orders
• Maintenance of facility, grounds and utility systems.
• Preventative Maintenance Programs on parts inventory, machinery, tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of maintenance experience
• Ability to stand for full length shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Skilled mechanical, troubleshooting and electrical
• Ability to read, write and communicate effective; interpretation and application of safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, diagrams and regulatory requirements, etc
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; communicate before a group, in teams, to co-worker’s customers and vendors.
• Solve practical problems dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Must possess basic mathematics skills.

Hours: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

Previous job references will be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
