Popli Design Group is Hiring a Land Surveyor Near Penfield, NY
Description
Popli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a full-time Professional Land Surveyor for our Penfield, NY office. This position will report to the Director of Land Surveying; it will primarily be an office role, and assisting / mentoring with field work as needed.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Mentoring staff
· Managing field crew’s schedule
· Prepping scope documents and other information for field crews
· Assisting with project management / project estimating
· Technical survey duties (adjustments, mapping, etc.)
Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
· NYS Licensed Land Surveyor required
· 8 years’ experience with Engineering/Land Survey Firm
· Must have in-depth experience with Microstation and/or AutoCAD / Civil 3d
· Experience with NYSDOT survey procedures, a plus
· Experience with sUAS, a plus
· Experience with terrestrial and/or mobile LiDAR, a plus
· The candidate must work well in a team environment
