General Manager
Reports to: Owners
Job Summary: The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, as well as the daily operations of the staff. The General Manager will also be responsible for scheduling and food orders. The General Manager will report directly to ownership.
Essential Functions:
·Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and sales.
·Ensure that all employees are following health, safety, sanitation, and environmental standards.
·Ensure that all employees are following company policies and procedures.
·Ensure that all staff follow company policies and procedures.
·Oversee training of new employees. Ensure that all employees follow company policies and procedures.
·Oversee all administrative functions of the restaurant (food preparation, cleaning, maintenance, etc.). Ensure that all functions are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
·Report all negative customer experiences to management immediately.
·Report any maintenance or equipment problems to management immediately.
·Ensure that all open checklists are completed daily (daily cashier counts). Ensure that inventory is maintained in a safe and orderly manner at all times. Ensure that open credit card checks are performed at the end of each shift (when required). Ensure that all open cash checks are processed each morning at 7:00 am. Ensure that each open credit check is processed each morning at 7:00 am. Ensure that each open credit card check is processed each morning at 8:00 am. Ensure that each open credit check is processed each morning at 9:00 am. Ensure that each open credit check is processed each morning at 10:00 am. Ensure that each open credit check is processed each morning at 11:00 am. Ensure that each open credit check is processed each morning at 12:00 pm. Ensure that each open credit check is processed every day at 3:00 pm (when required).
Qualifications:
·Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant with strong leadership skills required (preferred). High volume restaurant experience with strong leadership skills preferred (preferred). High volume restaurant management experience preferred (preferred). Strong computer skills required (preferred). Strong communication skills required (preferred). Strong organizational skills preferred (preferred). Ability to lead a team with strong communication skills preferred (preferred). Ability to lead a team with strong computer skills preferred (preferred). Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment preferred (must be able to multitask effectively in an environment where pressure is high). Ability to work well with others in an organization where cooperation is important.
