Facilities Technician

Danran Properties LLC is looking for an experienced Maintenance - Facilities Technician to join its staff. We own and manage the property from which Poolsupplies.com operates at 180 Beaver Road in Churchville (Chili). Poolsupplies.com is one of the largest online and catalog retailers of swimming pool products and supplies in the country.

SUMMARY: The Facilities Technician will perform maintenance and repairs in our buildings. The candidate will perform a variety of skilled duties in the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, HVAC and other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining and repairing the building.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following

• Perform routine daily inspection and maintenance necessary to building interior/exterior as instructed by the Facilities Supervisor;
• Perform installation, repair and construction work in the building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, welding and HVAC;
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance schedules;
• May be required to drive company vehicle to pick-up supplies; and
• Other duties as may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good knowledge of the practices, terminology & safety precautions of the building trades;
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may occasionally include extended shifts and weekend assignments;
• Ability to use all types of hand tools and power tools;
• Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift and other motorized equipment;
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience in a large warehouse environment desired; and
• Good attendance and reliable transportation.
• New York State Driver's License
