Job Summary:

NurturingArtist provides direct services of music, art, dance, or exercise to hospicepatients and their families to assist in reducing the psycho-social andphysical needs as identified by the IDT assessment. Manage related expendituresin a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with the Company’s budget.Travel as necessary.

The Hospice Music, Art, Dance, Exercise staff will visitsenior centers, assisted living and skilled facilities and/or other facilitiesas requested, to provide soothing psycho-social, emotional, spiritual and /orphysical comfort of our patients, families and facility staff.

The Nurturing Artist will promoteHomestead Hospice in all the facilities they visit and will relay importantinformation about the facility, patient or families to the appropriate hospiceinterdisciplinary team member for further interaction.

The Nurturing Artist will adhere to all patient, family andfacility HIPPA rules and rights/responsibilities.
