Position Summary:

Our Associate Operations Manager/Lead Driver reports to the Operations Manager and ensure the success of our Cleveland Amazon Operations. This role focuses on three main buckets of work (Fleet, Training, Driving), while additional projects may be assigned from time to time.

Position Responsibilities:

· Fleet Responsibilities may include:

o Checking cabs for cleanliness and making sure cabs are presentable for next driver.

o Ensures all vehicles are fueled and fluids are topped off and take care of in-house maintenance.

o Ensures cabs have had a daily inspection.

· Training responsibilities for the Cleveland Operations including:

o Reviewing Compliance binders and ensuring all needed materials are supplied.

o Executes on company’s personal protective equipment plan for all employees.

o Partners with Operations Manager to communicate safety messaging on a weekly basis (this includes finding appropriate content and sharing with team as necessary).

o Owning the Sentix video process (assigning videos, following up with drivers for completion, etc.)

o Road test for new drivers.

o Ride alongs for all onboarding of new drivers and quarterly ride alongs for all existing drivers.

o Create and execute on training related to particular topics (speed, backing, etc)

o Mentors drivers to ensure safe driving behaviors become habits.

· Driving responsibilities:

o Running load boards

o Providing coverage for drivers on PTO

Position Qualifications:

· CDL CLASS A Holder.

· College degree or equivalent experience.

· 2 years’ experience of demonstrated leadership.

· 5 years’ experience in transportation or supply chain.

· Strong leadership skills with servant-leader approach.

· Reliable professional who is proactive, self-motivated, and forward thinking

· Motivated to succeed in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and quickly change direction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
