Summary/Objective Under limited supervision, the service technician - mechanic position performs work of considerable difficulty in the repair and maintenance of logging machines (harvesters and forwarders) at the customers job sites; performs related work as assigned.

1. Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs logging machines.
2. Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of logging machines.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Must have, or be able to obtain a CDL license.

Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to the outdoor weather elements. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
