We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team on a Part Time basis, two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 hours each shift. The ideal candidate will have expertise in software troubleshooting, IT support, mobile devices, computer hardware, VPN, ServiceNow, TCP/IP, firewall, and Windows.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users for software and hardware issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications and operating systems
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- Set up and troubleshoot mobile devices
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of user requests and resolutions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in desktop support or a related field
- Proficiency in software troubleshooting and IT support
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals
- Familiarity with VPN setup and troubleshooting
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols
- Knowledge of firewall configurations and security protocols
- Strong proficiency in Windows operating systems
