Pomerene Hospital is Hiring a RADIOLOGY TECH- Full-time Near Millersburg, OH

Job Summary
The X Ray Tech is responsible for the operation of the general radiographic rooms per their license limits. The X Ray Tech is responsible for patient care and producing quality x-rays under the direction of the supervising provider. The X Ray Tech will also be required to help with clerical duties if they are not needed to complete x-rays.
Essential Functions
  • Moves throughout the facility, appropriately assists in emergency drills and performs the physical requirements needed to deliver services as assigned.
  • Performs radiologic exams under the direction of a provider and provides quality images.
  • Works cooperatively with unit staff, providers and ancillary departments.
  • Performs all tasks and duties of this position according to hospital and department policy and procedure.
  • Demonstrates commitment to Pomerene Hospital’s Values.
  • Delivers service that builds customer satisfaction.
  • Actively supports and encourages Primary Support Person (PSP)/ Family involvement in patient’s care, with consent of patient. Includes PSP/ family member in explanations/discussions of testing, procedures and discharge instructions when applicable.


Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED- Required.
  • Completion of an Accredited Radiological Technology Program- Required.
  • ODH GXMO licensure- Required.
  • BLS Certification- Required (May obtain during orientation period).
