Polyvinyl Films Inc is Hiring an Assistant Production Manager Near Sutton, MA
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establish production schedules and maintain inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies including but not limited to environmental, health, safety, and quality programs. Maintain a safe work environment.
- Improve the organization and efficiency of the production department.
- Take corrective action for non-conforming products and non-conforming employees.
- Provide leadership, training, and employee development to accomplish goals. Train subordinates on all operational activities, company polices, safety procedures, new initiatives, and expectations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 10 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge/experience working with machines and tools; hydraulic and electrical systems; welding and blown extrusion films.
- Mechanical aptitude, able to make minor repairs on machines.
- High level of customer service orientation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Effective problem-solver.
- Knowledge of OSHA health and safety standards and ISO compliance.
