Polypack, Inc is Hiring an Inventory Control Associate Near Pinellas Park, FL

Job description

Polypack, Inc. manufactures innovative end-of-line packaging equipment for customers around the world. Established in 1959, Polypack remains privately owned with operations in the United States, France, and Mexico.

Polypack, Inc. is seeking a Inventory Control Associate for its Pinellas Park, Florida manufacturing plant.

This detail-oriented individual will be an important team player in creating a productive and efficient work environment. This position reports to the Director of Operations.

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm with OT as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory by counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock.
  • Stock and count supplies and report any differences between the actual count and the stock levels in company records.
  • Distributing or stocking merchandise.
  • Receive and inventory stock.
  • Generate Purchase Orders.
  • Maintaining and updating Inventory records.
  • Identify damaged, returned or mis-ordered inventory.
  • Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets.
  • Mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical strength and Stamina
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Provide support to the shipping and receiving team when necessary.
  • Other various tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

· 1 to 5 years prior experience working in a stockroom or other inventory positions, like Store Clerk or Warehouse Worker.

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Primarily Excel) and inventory management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirents:

· Must be able to move or lift up to 50 pounds.

· May need to stand for long periods of time.

· May encounter frequent walking, climbing, bending, squatting, crouching, standing, turning/twisting, extending arms to reach etc.

· May need to climb ladders and stairs.
