Position Description:

• Perform tasks associated with the receipt, storage, shipment and fabrication of product and materials o Driver 26ft box truck and deliver shipments throughout our territory o Unload / load trailers o Pick / pack / ship stock o Cut-to-size/Parts assembly
• Know and comply with state and local transportation safety regulations and company safety policies
• Perform all pre-trip responsibilities to include: checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, count items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded, perform "pre-trip safety check" inspection of truck
• Drive to and deliver customer orders according to a predetermined route and plan routes based on best travel time possible while meeting customer expectations
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures. Collect money (checks for prepay customers) where required. Contact management for authorization when discrepancies on invoice and communicate all errors/returns
• Perform all post-trip responsibilities to include: unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete necessary paperwork; turn in all funds collected daily; perform safety check on the

vehicle, company vehicle maintenance reports and reconcile with appropriate company representative as required

• Use established tools, equipment and technologies required to complete transactions related to

In/Out-bound processes within the warehouse

• Adhere to and enforce basic housekeeping standards, safe operating procedures; e.g. OSHA, PPE, etc. and basic building maintenance
• Assists with Shipping and Receiving Department
• Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements
• Moves inventory by scheduling material movement to and from warehouse. Shipment confirmation, inventory management and picking/packing/shipping of orders
• Research orders, follow-up on hot orders and check systems to confirm order status
• Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through effective use of inventory maintenance reports
• Facilitate and develop effective relationships with 3rd party freight carriers
• Develop and maintain excellent customer satisfaction by providing unmatched quality & service
• Performs other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• HS diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
• Experience with MS Office and basic math skills
• Follow all safety procedures
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; up to 75 lbs occasionally
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Must complete/PASS DOT medical physical

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must pass a background investigation as part of the selection process
• Must pass the drug test as part of the selection process
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.32 - $19.23 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
