POSITION SUMMARY: Monitor production process for defects, through a series of measurements and tests: measure product for continuity, using leak, flame and other detectors, regular use of use a caliper and other measuring devices for dimensional checks, and assure that product continuously meets company and customer standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Function #1: Check line schedules, make sure lines have correct cartons, liners, flamers, leak detector pack position, record checks 4 times

Function #2: Fill out paperwork, do visual checks, measure and record bottles, including all scratch-n-tape test, top loads, drop & leaks etc.

Function #3: Check stencils or stickers, make stickers if necessary, check units for correct number of boxes, straps, stretch wrap and ticket unit if it meets approval.

Function #4: Visual line checks. Check and verify print quality.

Function #5: Complete poor quality reports, and follow non-conformance procedures.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: When necessary, assist placing units on stretch wrapper, make stencil and stickers, obtain tickets, get samples, file paperwork, assist in providing boxes and liners for packers; perform general housekeeping duties, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Familiarity with using calipers and other precision measuring instruments
- Ability to accurately collect and analyze data
- Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and other quality management systems
- Willingness to learn and adhere to quality standards and regulations
