An established law firm, located in Greene County, Pennsylvania, is seeking an associate attorney to handle matters of general practice. Fields of applicable law include, but are not limited to, family law, contractual law, administrative law, and criminal law. The successful applicant is expected to operate as the primary counsel for client’s matters assigned to the associate and to assist partners with additional work assigned to the associate.
Hiring Criteria:
Applicant must be a duly licensed attorney authorized to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. There is no minimum requirement with regard to years of experience in the practice of law. However, prior experience and clerkships are preferred. Applicants must have no prior disciplinary history in the Commonwealth or in any other state in which the applicant is licensed. Applicant should have the ability to manage assigned cases and billing, work independently and should be a self-starter. An applicant, upon successful performance, may be offered growth opportunities within the firm. Applicants should have a commitment to residing in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Salary:
The successful applicant will receive a salary based in part on prior experience. Bonuses will be afforded to the successful applicant upon meeting certain monthly receivables from work tendered. This position affords a self-motivated employee an opportunity to make an income above that of comparable positions within the local market. Specification regarding income structure shall be provided to those applicants the firm seeks to hire.
