Position Description:
The Machine Assistant is responsible for monitoring all Inks, maintaining proper viscosity, maintaining Ph, mixing inks, and maintaining inventory of drums and pails at the press and roll handling. This position is also responsible for assisting the Press Operators as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ink handling, maintaining ink viscosity and Ph, and organizing ink inventory
- Participates in Press make readies and actively involved with machine preventative maintenance
- Responsible for roll preparation including roll tending and moving printed rolls to the offline folder
- Responsible for cold foil roll preparation including roll tending
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate between different types of stock, ink, cold foil, and quality issues with raw materials
- Understand detailed game specifications
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
- Intermediate computer skills: experience using a database or spreadsheet software
- Understanding of and consistent adherence to Health & Safety, Quality and Security standards

- Meets the attendance criteria as noted in the APP
- $2,500 sign on bonus
Additional Qualifications Required:
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Able to sustain extended periods of walking and standing and lift, push, pull up to 20-55 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and produce accurate work
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain productivity to meet production deadlines
- Willingness to participate in cross training
