ABOUT THE JOB

This is administrative work in the storage and records maintenance of Sheriff’s Office evidence and property related to a variety of Law Enforcement investigations, the acquisition and disbursement of a variety of supplies, equipment, services, and recovered property including the eventual disposition of evidence according to regulations. This position will also provide administrative support to operations as necessary and as directed by the Administrative Support Supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or possession of the equivalent GED certificate. One year experience in the criminal justice field with considerable experience of a progressively responsible nature in property management and at least one-year experience using a computer; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must receive certification in the Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) within six months of appointment and possess a valid Oregon driver’s license or a Class C license.Polk County, the Organization:
