Polk County (OR) is Hiring a Correctional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Near Dallas, OR


ABOUT THE JOB

As a member of our Jail Medical Team you will be working to provide nursing care within Polk County Jail. Typical duties include health education, performing physical exam, basic wound care, medication administration, maintaining inmate medical records and collaborating with jail and other health partner staff as needed. WORK SCHEDULETuesdays through Fridays from 12:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited school for licensed practical nursing and three years of experience in public health or in a clinical setting; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Oregon at the time of appointment. Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license, automobile insurance, and access to and use of a personal automobile as a condition of employment.Polk County, the Organization:
