The ideal candidate will be curious and ambitious, someone who can write quickly and analytically with a smart and engaging style for a sophisticated audience. What You'll Need: 

• Experience delivering scoops and high-impact enterprise on a major beat
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly and accurately on tight deadlines, synthesizing and explaining complicated information 
• A track record of navigating a demanding, fast-paced reporting job 
• Experience covering transportation policy issues, Congress or regulatory agencies is a plus.
