Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills required
• Ability to move (sit, stand, bend, lift) intermittently throughout the work day.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Prior Housekeeping experience is required, preferably in a nursing home environment.

Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor

Position Summary:

The Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor will primarily oversee and direct the day to day operations of the housekeeping/laundry department. The position will also include ordering Medical Supplies and maintaining the Medical Records.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Take part in painting as needed

Assist with light carpentry as needed

Grounds maintenance as needed

Preventative maintenance as needed

Must be able to manage staff in a professional manner

Provide schedules to staff to ensure proper staffing needs are met and within budget

Perform basic housekeeping support for residents as required

Cleaning and sanitizing all areas on a regular basis

Trash removal

Sweeping and mopping

Order supplies

Utilize provided equipment safely

Must be flexible and be able to fill in on floor when needed

Other duties as assigned
