Job Overview:
We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with stocking and organizing inventory
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns
- Upsell menu items to increase sales
- Clear tables and assist with bussing duties as needed

Skills:
- Customer service: Ability to provide friendly and efficient service to customers
- Basic math: Proficiency in performing basic mathematical calculations for cash handling and order accuracy
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food safety and handling procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Upselling: Ability to effectively promote additional menu items to customers
- Bussing: Experience in clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Grocery store or restaurant experience is preferred but not required
