Oakwood Heights Village is seeking an Activities Assistant who has a love for working with seniors and a passion for healthcare.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group activities
- Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance
- Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized
- Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities
- Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties
Qualifications:
- Diploma or GED
- Creativity
- Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia and special needs is a plus.
- Ability to self motivate
- Flexible with schedule, occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays are required
