We are a Honeywell Authorized Controls Integrator that specializes in the Tridium/Honeywell WEBs product line, and have ten Tridium AX/ N4 Certified specialists in house.

Since the creation of P2P our company has grown exponentially and has expanded into a full blown building automation contractor specializing in Temperature Control, Energy Management, Keycard Access, and Surveillance. Point to Point Systems is now a premier building automation contractor in the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus markets performing work for building owners, property management companies, mechanical contractors, and general contractors.

Point to Point Systems (P2P) is currently seeking an Automation Controls Technician, Low Voltage Electrician, or someone with an HVAC background who can showcase their talents. This position is based out of Dayton, OH, but also services accounts in Cincinnati and Columbus. P2P installs and maintains systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient, and is a leading provider of energy efficiency solutions. P2P specializes in service of critical building systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, security/keycard access, closed circuit television and energy management.

Job Responsibilities to include

  • Installation of temperature control systems, key card access, and video surveillance systems
  • We self perform our installations including pulling wire, running conduit and terminations of all devices required for the system application
  • Assist with checkout for system functionality and performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements and shop drawings/sequence of operations, etc.
  • Complete documentation of all work done, including as-built drawings, wire layouts, etc.
  • Update customer drawings/documentation with any configuration or model changes
  • Respond to and resolve any installation issues as required
  • Diagnose and perform repairs in a time effective manner
  • Participation in delivery of small service or install jobs, including but not limited to, engineering, drawings, programming, documentation, installation, management of sub-contractors, start-up, testing and customer acceptance
  • Learn and grow in our industry, aspire to learn programming, integration and/or project management

Applicants Should have following background

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Tridium N4 and/or AX security certification preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to understand wiring diagrams and blue prints
  • HVAC mechanical or electric service or installation experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work with others and follow instructions
  • Interest and initiative in maintaining his/her HVAC and DDC controls skills through a combination of self-study, company offered training, workshops, and other developmental activities.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in the use of Windows based PC’s, networking, and Windows based applications is a plus

'Work Location:

  • Job dependent. We do work in the Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati areas and sometimes a bit further.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
