Foundations, a Member of The Point Quest Group, is looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to work in the Florence Unified School District. Employing evidence-based practices, our providers meet the student’s needs and assist districts to maintain compliance with requirements. - Assess students' speech language development skills (e.g. receptive/expressive language skills, speech production skills, social language skills development, etc.) and interpret results to determine their need for special education services.
- Develops speech-language therapy programs and provides direct therapy to students under their individualized plans.
- Provides consultation to classroom teachers, administrators, and parents.
- Reviews and maintains speech-language files and related paperwork to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Participates in meetings, workshops, and seminars to convey and/or gather information required to perform functions.
- Prepares a wide variety of written materials (e.g. evaluation reports, individualized treatment plans, student data, billing records, and progress reports) to document activities, providing written references and/or conveying information to others.
- Presents information about students and/or programs to a variety of audiences including families, colleagues, and outside agencies.
- Researches resources and methods (e.g. intervention and treatment techniques, assessment tools and methods, community resources, etc.) to determine the appropriate approach for addressing students' goals.

- Education: Master’s degree
- Hold a valid SLP/ SLT license in the state of Arizona
- Hold a valid Department of Education SLP/SLT license in the state of Arizona
- Hold a current AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Hold current CPR certification
- Maintain Continuing Education requirements, as per AZDHS (http://azdhs.gov/licensing/special/index.php#speech-hearing-continuing-education)
- Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
- Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs.
- Must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
- The noise intensity level is moderate to high
