POIC + RAHS is Hiring a Youth Services Mentor Coordinator Near Portland, OR

Location: POIC operates across all program sites. This position’s primary location is POIC’s North Campus site. However, travel from site to site is required.
Hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, plus occasional evenings and weekends as required.
Reports to: Director of Youth Services

Job Summary:
As a Mentor Coordinator, you will ensure the student mentor program's objectives and deliverables are met according to contract and grant agreements, including but not limited to, providing match support services and mentee engagement. Your core responsibilities will include providing regular case management and support to RAHS matches (Mentees and Mentors), working closely with multiple campuses, and collecting and reporting program outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Client Engagement: provide regular outreach and support to Mentors and Mentees.
Case Management: support a caseload of 40 – 50 young adults.
Data Management: collect, analyze, and report on data and monitor grant requirements.
Training, Facilitation, and Curriculum Development: conduct monthly mentor training.
Team Collaboration: complete regular agency reports and collaborate with the Youth Services team and other POIC departments to deliver services across all program sites.

Personal Requirements:

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, time management, and reporting skills to manage multiple projects, set priorities, collaborate with team members, and meet deadlines.
Exceptional verbal communication skills.
Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
Responsible and professional conduct that serves as a role model for students.
A passion for POIC RAHS mission and serving at-risk youth and young adults.
Must have a valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and the ability to meet our insurability requirements.

Experience/Education:

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
Five or more years of related experience in case of management and/or program management.
Experience working with young adults and families.
Experience recruiting and maintaining program participants.
Experience working with communities of color, particularly African-American women.
Prior grant reporting experience required.
