About the Position
The Site Safety Manager monitors workplace activities to ensure that workers comply with company policies, client requirements and government safety regulations. The Site Safety Manager is responsible for policy development, safety inspections, safety training and compliance with the federal and state Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and any other applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification and safety-related education and experience is preferred. Additional qualifications may vary based on project requirements and approval by project stakeholders, such as U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Proficiency with general computer skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills; and the following Poettker Construction competencies: Safety First, Quality Work, Honesty and Integrity, Trustworthy Relationships, Family Oriented, Effective Partnerships, and Fiscal Responsibility.
