Job Description: Producer
PodPopuli, America's premier retail podcasting experience is looking for team members for all our locations! Are you passionate about podcasting, people, producing, and looking for a creative, fast-paced environment with some of the most dynamic personalities in the area?
Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Podcast Producer to join our team and play a pivotal role in servicing our community of podcasters, while producing compelling and high-quality podcast content. The Podcast Producer will work closely with hosts, content creators, and other production team members to oversee all aspects of podcast production, from conceptualization to final distribution. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, audio production, and is skilled in managing projects to ensure the timely delivery of engaging podcast episodes.
Responsibilities:
Recording and Production:
· Organize recording sessions, ensuring proper scheduling, technical setup, and optimal audio quality.
· Direct hosts and guests during recording to capture engaging and authentic content.
· Upload recordings into workflow, adding notes and time codes for editor.
Quality Control:
· Conduct thorough quality checks on edited episodes to ensure audio quality, content accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
Technical Proficiency:
· Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in podcasting technology and audio production techniques.
· Troubleshoot technical issues related to recording, editing, and distribution.
Qualifications:
· Highschool degree or equivalent work experience.
· Proven experience in podcast production, including recording, networking and customer service.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality content.
· Creativity in storytelling and a keen ear for audio aesthetics.
· Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Passion for podcasting and an understanding of the evolving landscape.
