The Pocket Yacht Company is now seeking a full-time Yard Technician to join our growing team. This qualified individual must be able to problem-solve, work well in a team environment, and be efficient to achieve high customer satisfaction.

Reports To: Service Manager

The Yard Foreman is primarily responsible for launching and hauling boats, organizing the display/arrangement of boats on the dealership premises, and boat transportation to and from other locations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manages the safe and efficient moving of boats in and on the dealership property, including hauling, launching, and docking
• Coordinates transportation of boats, trailers, and motors to and from off site locations including customer locations, boat shows, etc.
• Coordinates/maintains the yard storage needs: stands, blocks, covers, etc.
• Coordinates/schedules maintenance on yard trucks, trailers, and forklifts and maintains service records

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Boating/trailering experience and prior marine dealership experience helpful, CDL preferred
• Professional appearance
• Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and process driven
• Have a valid state driver’s license and current DOT physical record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background/drug screen
