Description

The Assembly I role is responsible to assist with the activities of the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center by performing functions and duties related to assembly and tote packing.

This job focuses on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards and procedures. Consistent, error-free work is essential requiring patience and willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. The job environment promotes steady, methodical work output so job routines can be completed on time and accurate.

Key Responsibilities and other duties as assigned:

  • Assembles and arranges sub-packs and bundled items including packaging small items into appropriately labeled zip-lock bags in preparation for the assembly of kits.
  • Assembles health totes to be packaged and shipped according to uniform client and standard specifications.
  • Finalizes a Quality Assurance self-check prior to assembly.
  • Repackages stock items as needed.
  • Reads and prints order detail reports.
  • Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including adhering to and understanding OSHA safety policies and regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisor responsibilities.

Education:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) and a minimum of 1 year of Distribution Center / Warehouse related experience.

Skills and Experience:

  • Basic reading and comprehension skill with the ability to retain information and training and properly apply the knowledge.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills including the ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Attendance and punctuality are critical to the success of this position.
  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM and overtime as required.
