Job Summary

Deli Leads are responsible for the Deli and Dairy departments inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operational processes to meet company standards. Deli Leads will assist with ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of product according to Grocery Outlets standards to maximize sales and gross profit. Deli Leads will also always ensure a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction by answering customer questions regarding services and products offered.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Deli Lead will maintain the deli departments freshness, store standards, signage, and help to reduce shrink loss by keeping products full and rotated. Product is to be properly filled, rotated and dates checked. The Deli Lead will need to track inventory and place orders for proper sales.

Qualifications and Skills

The Deli Lead needs to be able to communicate well with customers, peers, and supervisors

Follows directions well

Needs to be able to use a computer

Need to be able to lift an average of 20-50 lbs

Must be over 18 years of age and needs to be available to work on Mondays and Thursday. Hours are usually from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
