POSITION TITLE: PROGRAM SECRETARY
LOCATION: Maintenance/Operations Department

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Eight hours per day
DAYS: Twelve month employment
SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be $16.05 per hour.
START DATE: As soon as possible.
JOB SUMMARY: The principal function is to perform clerical, technical and administrative duties to support the Maintenance and Operations Department. Duties include monitoring work orders. Works with Maintenance and Operations purchase orders and inventory, orders parts.
Types correspondence, memos, and various forms. Maintains office files. Cross trains in other areas of administrative support. Work requires physical exertion and some heavy lifting.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent skills. Must demonstrative basic competence in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Requires one year of job-specific training in office procedures and a variety of computer programs such as Word, Excel or others. Experience
with workorder programs, AutoCad and/or inventory programs is desirable. MUST BE ABLE TO TYPE 45 WORDS PER MINUTE WITH A 90% ACCURACY. CONTACT DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AT 208-236-6710 TO SCHEDULE A TYPING TEST PRIOR TO CLOSING
DATE. Requires a valid Idaho Drivers License with no DUI offenses within the last five years.
EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION: Current employees that are interested in transferring must apply through the Internal Application of AppliTracks. A typing test is required for ALL applicants. Skills tests are required for ALL FINALISTS. The skills tests will include Excel 2010 and Basic Office Skills.
