Location: Head Start POSITION TITLE: HEAD START PRESCHOOL FULL DAY TEACHER III
LOCATION: Head Start Classroom at Lincoln

HOURS: 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week. Occasional evening hours.
DAYS: . Monday through Friday. Minimum of 190 days per year. Nine month employment, August to June
SALARY SCHEDULE:
Classified Salary Schedule. Rate of pay $25.47 per hour
START DATE: August 2, 2022
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for teaching 3 to 5 year old children. Must have skills and experience observing and assessing children, and using data to plan and set goals. Must be able to interpret and use standards, policies, and State and Federal guidelines to implement the educational program. Must be able to work alongside with parents and co-workers to achieve positive child outcomes. Some evening hours required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Four year degree from an accredited University a) Preferred credentials: BA, BS or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education; or, b) BA, BS or advanced Degree in Elementary Education, Elementary Special Education, or related field with coursework equivalent to an A.A. Degree in Early Childhood and experience teaching preschool aged children; or c) A.A. Degree in Early Childhood and enrolled in a BA, BS in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or related field, and experience teaching preschool aged children. BA/BS to be completed within two years of hire.
