Job Title : Hospitality Professional - Part Time (full time growth opportunities exist)

Pay : $20 - $30 per hour (with hourly rate, tips, bonus, and commissions)

We want your A attitude & values; while our customers and close-knit team love to interact with fun, interesting folks! As one of the top tasting rooms with highly regarded ambiance, we bring our ultra-premium Estate Pinot Noirs, Chards from the Willamette Valley as well as WA Cabs and Sparkling wines.

We have an immediate opening for a rockstar (7-21 hrs / week to start and potential for full time growth as business picks up)

Lachini Vineyards, a prestigious winery with two locations in Oregon and one in Washington. This position primarily serves at our breathtaking vineyard location in Newberg, Oregon, where we currently operate out of a charming barn.

However, get ready for an exciting opportunity, as we're about to unveil our Tuscan-inspired Villa tasting room, opening soon (June / July 2024)! This magnificent new space will host private cooking classes, weddings, woodfired pizzas and, of course, standard wine tasting operations.

This position could also work our other location in Tualatin, Oregon for private events.

Responsibilities : Welcome guests with a warm and enthusiastic service heart, guiding them through wine tasting flights or whatever we might be offering that day.

Share our brand story, viticulture and winemaking practices, and showcase our exceptional wines, converting guests into customers and wine club members.

Ensure a fun and memorable experience for all guests, from first-timers to loyal members. Oversee daily tasting room operations, from setup to breakdown, operating POS systems, and maintaining guest areas.

Represent the winery at outside events and industry functions.

Qualifications : Experience in a luxury wine / retail brand is a plus, and a strong interest in the Oregon wine industry is highly preferred.

Sales background or prior restaurant experience is equally regarded. A high wine IQ and sales background is strongly desired;

however, an exuberant spirit and can-do attitude is essential! Experience with POS and technology / software systems. This position involves working days where the business needs coverage.

Primarily Thursday through Sunday shifts along with holidays (except Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year's Days).Must be 21 years of age and hold (or able to get) OLCC and Food Handlers Permits.

Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in a standing position for extended periods, and work flexible hours, including weekends & holidays.
