Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators is Hiring a Product Development Engineer Near Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Lead Product Development process, for all PVE products, in supplier evaluation, definition of product spec., development of test plans, competitive product testing and analysis, and patent clearance.
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, and designers, to integrate electrical systems into overall product designs.
- Troubleshoot and debug electrical systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Work with sales/engineering/manufacturing to develop and launch new Product offerings which meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery goals.
- Present updates and new product suggestions on an ongoing basis.
- Assure supplier (and sub-suppliers) have manufacturing process capability and capacity to meet requirements.
- Responsible for confirmation of working prototypes, engineering samples, and pilot lot samples meeting all requirements.
- Evaluate and resolve safety concerns, both internal company standards and safety listing agencies.
- Responsible for executing the Milestone Process and communicating project status/updates as required.
- Work closely with Production to ensure that all the manufacturing procedures are followed.
- Engineering background is preferred.
