Position Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 days remote) - Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL
Summary:
The main function of an enterprise engineer is to design, build, and maintain enterprise technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Supports the implementation of enterprise engineering strategies and best practices to support business objectives.
• Create and manage products in support of enterprise strategy.
• Work with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on the development of software components and hardware.
• Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet the organization’s needs
• Provide advice and resolve problems and issues involved in enterprise engineering activities.
Skills:
• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of one or more scripting languages.
• Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
Must Have Technical Skills/Experience:
• Modern desktop items like: Microsoft Intune; Autopilot; OneDrive; Userstate, Virtualization
• Office 365
• Windows
• Powershell (expert level would be a bonus)
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Nice to Have Skillset:
• Anyone who has hardware space; Dell, Lenovo, & HP
• Someone who can prove they managed vendor relationships
• Gone deeper into servicing, BIOS and updates (how to do these faster)
• Business case development
Soft Skills that would make a candidate successful in this role:
• MUST be a self- starter and self- driven
• Must deliver results
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• 5-7 years experience required
