Job Summary:

Support the bank's database platform services by installing, patching, upgrading, configuring, tuning, and maintaining databases. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot critical performance bottlenecks for Neo4J databases, review and implement changes following PNC Policy and Industry Best Practice, collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve complex issues, ensure database security compliance, automate management tasks, and mentor team members.

Responsibilities:

- Install, patch, upgrade, configure, tune, and maintain databases

- Support Production in an on-call environment and non-production systems

- Review and implement changes following PNC Policy and Industry Best Practice

- Troubleshoot critical performance bottlenecks for Neo4J databases

- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve complex issues

- Ensure databases are monitored, maintained, backed up, and available as appropriate

- Manage database security in adherence to PNC’s security policy

- Review stress testing results and provide recommendations to development teams

- Automate management tasks and streamline processes

- Mentor team members cross-platform

Skills:

- Significant experience with Neo4j and Cypher query language

- Expertise in graph-driven data science applications

- Experience with Encryption Solutions for Neo4J

- Experience with Backup & Recovery Methodologies used for Neo4J

- Experience with Neo4J HA Architecture for Critical Applications

- Experience with LDAP Based Authentication & Authorization for Neo4J

- Hands-on experience with coding languages like Python or Java

- Experience building Enterprise Level Standards for provisioning

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant work experience required
