Job Summary:

Join our site reliability center, operations, and response team to support incident management, problem management, and observability within the banking industry. We are seeking a skilled individual with a background in Database Engineering, particularly in performance tuning and optimization. Knowledge of SRE concepts is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Manage incidents and participate in response calls

- Engage in problem management and scripting for automation

- Implement solutions for performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning

- Establish proactive monitoring and alerting systems

- Document data standard procedures and definitions

- Monitor database performance and recommend optimizations

Skills:

- MSSQL Administration

- Database Engineering (performance tuning, optimization)

- SRE Skill Set (Automation, Monitoring, Incident response, Capacity Planning)

- Scripting (PowerShell/Python/Ansible)

- Familiarity with Version control systems

- Cloud platforms knowledge

- Experience with Database replication & HA solutions

- Agile methodologies familiarity

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field and/or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
