As a Corporate Facilities Manager within PNC's Realty Services organization, you will be based in Fruitland, Maryland.
Position Overview:
This is an individual contributor position that will be responsible for a portfolio of PNC retail branches and office buildings within the Maryland market with some branches in Virginia and Delaware.. Overall knowledge of construction management and commercial facility management is preferred.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in navigating Excel/Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge on major components such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing
  • Time management and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
Travel-
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time for site visits is required.
Job Description
Manages physical properties in assigned region and influences the performance of properties to achieve the lowest efficient operating expense level.
Ensure properties are operating in a code compliant, safe, functional and cost effective manner. Manages vendors and contractors. Prepares annual operating budget and capital/expense project plan for property.
Maintains relationships with existing end users, regional management hierarchy and market operations managers (MOMs). Communicates with line of business heads for assigned buildings. Visits each facility as required with a minimum of once each year.
Implements building-unique facility strategic plans. Executes a facility's churn process (including new hires) for up to 10 people.
Oversees property related projects, up to $200k in value, including reconfigurations and consolidations. Ensures projects are on budget, on time and completed with minimal disruption to end users.

Managing Multiple Priorities – Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) Compliance – Knowledge of regulations and standards regarding the occupational safety and health of personnel working within an organization; ability to apply relevant regulations and standards to daily work activities.
Problem Solving – Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Project Management – Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives.
Real Estate Law & Policy Compliance – Knowledge of laws and policies that govern various forms of ownership in commercial and residential property; ability to demonstrate ethical behavior in diverse situations.
Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3 years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
