Job Description

Publicis Media Exchange (PMX) launched a new Advanced TV (ATV) practice, coined PMX Lift, earlier this year. This practice combines the scale and expertise of Publicis Media with the data and technology of Publicis-owned Epsilon and strategic media partners to offer cross-channel video planning, execution, and measurement. The offerings within PMX Lift includes products around Addressable TV, Data-Driven Linear (DDL), and Over-The-Top (OTT) video.

PMX built out a new team earlier this year that is dedicated to supporting the sales/growth/demand of the PMX Lift product. To accommodate the increased demand and successfully launch campaigns, the PMX Central Activation team has added a new arm dedicated specifically to PMX Lift and servicing our agencies via activating ATV campaigns on their behalf.

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Associate Director to join the growing team and help drive all aspects of executing PMX Lift campaigns. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

On top of invaluable experience in the fast-growing, evolving ATV landscape, this role offers high visibility with PM agency leadership and executives, the chance to work across a variety of client brands/verticals and the opportunity to collaborate with different teams of experts.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If you are contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, inclusive of any necessary reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with PM agencies
  • Ensure efficient workflows are established for collaboration between both internal and external teams, while advancing overall PMX Lift initiatives and priorities; identify areas for opportunity to improve current processes
  • Oversee the execution of Advanced TV campaigns, including but not limited to:
    • Requesting and reviewing proposals from vendors
    • Collaborating with teams to identify and develop audiences
    • Sharing recommendations to agency teams
    • Activating buys in billing system
    • Tracking in-flight campaigns
    • Compiling and distributing reporting
  • Be a central resource and develop/maintain relationships between all internal and external parties to set campaigns up for success
  • Ensure deadlines are being met and all appropriate deliverables are being provided across teams for successful campaign execution
Qualifications


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong background in Advanced TV, including Addressable TV, DDL, and/or OTT
  • 5 years of experience in media planning and/or buying within increasing level of responsibility within an agency or media company, including client facing responsibilities
  • Direct report management experience
  • Understanding and experience of working within media agencies preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables & project timelines efficiently
  • Ability to act as a proactive part of the Publicis Media team, and to act as a self-starter in an environment that encourages creativity, enthusiasm, and organization
  • Experience preferred with planning and/or buying with Advanced TV platforms (examples including Ampersand, Dish, Warner/Xandr, Amobee, OpenAP, NBCU AdSmart, Viacom Vantage, Discovery Engage, Vizio, Samsung, Roku, etc.)
  • Experience with process building/workflow documentation
  • Excellent relationship building and decision making skills with ability to think creatively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Compensation Range: $91,000 - $144,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
