Warehouse Associate / Driver

Our Warehouse team needs your help!

A warehouse clerk helps to pick, pack, load and deliver orders to the customer or 3rd party processors. Our customers are all a short drive from our facility. You also help with other shipping and receiving duties, such as receiving and shipping orders using our ERP system. You will need to help count and put away incoming shipments. You have accountability for accurate inventory counts and documentation. If you cannot drive safely do not apply.

Duties

• Shipping - need to determine what parts will ship, print packing lists, make accurate counts of parts double checking against documentation, load up the parts and deliver to customer.
• Driver a van or box truck. You need a clean driving record and also to be very safety conscience while working
• Receiving - unload trucks or containers, making sure to make accurate count of incoming parts all the while comparing the parts to the vendor documentation such as packing list or invoice to double check quantities. Use ERP system to receive the goods, make sure the paperwork gets to the correct people
• Drive forklift, use pallet jack, dolly etc.. to perform duties
• Expedites flow of parts and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
• Compiles records concerning quantity, and type of material received, shipped, in stock or inventory.
• Moves parts from one bin location to another bin location or production site within the plant.
• Receives and puts away product
• Uses and updates ERP software with BARCODE SCANNER to ship and receive parts, make material transfers as needed.
• Expedite parts from shop to warehouse for final shipping
• Performs inventory control by counting in the products for assembly jobs, making sure accurate receipts are performed, correct parts are issued to jobs and accurate counts are sent to customer
• Other various duties as needed or as assigned.

Also important

• Must be 21 years old.
• Two years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Prior experience entering data in and using ERP systems preferred
• Microsoft Office such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time. You will need to occasionally lift more than 35 pounds.
