Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our clients team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial motors. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Job sites are typically within a days drive but may require occassional oversite trips (expenses paid). Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Service and installs equipment (electric motors and pumps) according to an established service schedule, customer specification, and/or company standards, troubleshoots and rectifies potential problems on location.
• Works with ESDS items and follows ESD program (preferred but not required, training provided)
• Document all work legibly and accurately.
• Works closely with management and customers (as needed) to ensure scheduling of installations, repairs, and service work.
• Ensures proper running condition of vehicle and schedules routine maintenance.
• Builds and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service.
• Submits expense report as required.
• Responsible for gathering and transporting all equipment and tools (provided by employer)
• Submits daily time sheets.
• Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.

Requirements:

• Clean Driving Record
• Preferred one year of Mechanical or Electrical experience.
• 7-year background check required
• Pre-hire drug test
