Job Overview :

We areseeking a highly motivated and skilled Battery Assembly Operator.This position is an important role that supports the Research andDevelopment activities of the Companies Core Technology.

The rolesprimary focus is to coordinate build and test lithiumion batterycells using hand assembly operations to semiautomated productionequipment and processes.

The Battery Assembly Operator will work ina research laboratory setting with functions of the role includingbut not limited to the following :

KeyResponsibilities :

• Build battery cellsusing hands on processes requiring precision anddetail.
• Routinely work in clean / dry room orglove box environment.
• Utilize lab equipmentsuch as scales measuring tools mechanical handtools.
• Observe measure and record key processcharacteristics during cell builds.
• Operatesemiautomated lithiumion cell manufacturing equipment for prototypepouch cell formats.
• Support build andmaintenance of test equipment to insure proper operation anduse.
• Follow standard operating procedures(SOPs) for consistent use of manufacturing and testequipment.
• Support continuous improvement ofproduct and processes with verbal feedback to engineeringstaff.
• Be dedicated to safety practices toensure prevention of workplace injury oraccidents.

Qualifications :

• 13years working experience in research product or manufacturingcompany required.
• 13 years in a batteryelectrochemical or chemical product development company is aplus.
• Excellent hand / eyecoordination for the assembly of detailedcomponents.
• Ability to work in dry room andglove box environments.
• Desire to work in andmaintain a clean and organized environment.
• Strong work ethic and positive workingattitude.
• Exceptional organizational verbal andcommunication skills.
• Motivated and driven tosolve problems work with a high level of detail and care andcontinually improve processesrequired.
• Experience in ISO9001 manufacturingenvironment a plus.
• Ability to lift andmaneuver up to30Ibs.

Hours :

• FullTime 40 hours per week
• MondayFriday
