Martial Arts Instructor

Premier Martial Arts team takes pride in empowering lives through the martial arts. Instructors collaborate with our Program Director to develop and provide a best-in-class martial arts experience that helps our students develop the necessary skills to build a successful life.

The Role

As an instructor you will utilizes Premier Martial Arts methods and curriculum to teach students of all ages. You will collaborate with various staff members to establish a positive environment for the instruction where students can learn and thrive.

You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to adopt Martial Arts by building and maintaining long-lasting, positive relationships with students, parents, and community group leaders by overseeing Martial Arts education, belt tests, graduations, and assisting with marketing.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of Martial Arts coaching experience with variety of students (children, teens, etc.) and fitness levels.
  • Strong, self-driven leader with demonstrated ability to proactively organize, teach, and inspire others to be the best version of themselves
  • Excellent communication skills that can drive understanding (i.e. able to recognize when a group or individual is lost and needs more attention)
  • Demonstrate a positive “can do” demeanor and has fun
  • Gains energy by being a team-player, helping and motivating everyone around.
  • Ability to work daily hours in the afternoons/evenings and Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Black Belt Certification in any chosen style is A Plus
  • Willingness to work in different areas as required by training needs on occasion
  • Excellent attendance
  • Must be very organized and able to handle multiple and changing priorities
  • Willingness to participate in and support the marketing initiatives

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
