Part-Time or Full-Time – Experienced Woodwind Repair Technician

Founded in 1982, PM Music Center is the largest single band and orchestra instrument dealer in Illinois. Located in suburban Aurora, Illinois, PM Music Center rents, sells and repairs musical instruments for everyone from beginners to professionals. We offer a collegial, supportive work environment.

We are looking for:

· A skilled woodwind repair technician with a minimum of five years’ experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Woodwind instrument repairs for musicians and educational institutions.

· Maintain our diverse fleet of woodwind instruments for rent.

· Playtest woodwind instruments.

· Evaluate repairs, estimate repair jobs, and perform necessary repairs.

· Process service tickets in our point-of-sale system (AIMsi).

· Interact with customers with respect to needed repairs and to answer questions.

Compensation:

· $22.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
